My areas of research interest include green criminology, (critical) animal studies, environmental sociology, and gender studies.  For further information about my research and list of publications see my Research page.

I teach a variety of Criminology courses at the University of Windsor.  For a list of specific courses see my Teaching page.

I am currently the Undergraduate Programme Chair in the Department, faculty co-advisor of the Feminist Research Group, and Chair of the Animals and Society section of the American Sociological Association.

In my spare time I enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, including running , cycling, and walking my dog.
